Class Programs

Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play, children learn how to learn.

3's Preschool Class

At our 3's Preschool class, we focus on creating a hands-on experience that promotes socialization, academic learning, creative play, and independence. Our curriculum is designed to enhance the development of fine and gross motor skills, language, coordination, and number awareness, using The Zoo-Phonics Program to teach letter sounds and Handwriting Without Tears curriculum to teach letters and numbers. We understand the importance of learning to eat and socialize simultaneously, which is why we have added the Lunch Bunch option. Children are given ample time to explore their environment, practice writing their names, and make new friends. Our weekly lessons are based on a variety of themes, including alphabet letters, seasonal changes, animals, and holidays. Our daily schedule includes academic lessons, open manipulative play, arts and crafts, circle time, music and cooking, show and tell, and outdoor play. Our Tuesday/Thursday classes run from 8:30am to 11:30am.

4's Pre-K Class

The 4's Pre-Kindergarten class is a vital program for preparing 4-year-olds with essential skills to excel in Kindergarten. Our age-appropriate curriculum focuses on developing meaningful learning experiences that help children master the alphabet letters by sight and sound, handwriting using the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum, and sight words introduction to prepare for reading. The math readiness curriculum promotes number identification, formation, counting, patterning, sorting, and graphing using different items such as seasonal items, buttons, and food. Social skills are also emphasized through creative play, group projects, and teamwork. Each week, class lessons are based on a variety of themes including alphabet letters, seasonal changes, animals, and holidays. Our daily schedule may include academic lessons, stories, calendar, cooking, arts/crafts, and music. Children also participate in monthly chapel services.

Our Monday / Wednesday / Friday classes run from 8:45am to 11:45am, providing an excellent opportunity for children to learn and grow. In addition, we have introduced a new "lunch bunch" option where children can develop socialization skills while eating lunch. However, please note that the availability of this option is limited. The lunch bunch stays until 12:45 pm. Enroll your child in our 4's Pre-Kindergarten class for a fulfilling learning experience that sets the foundation for future academic success.

5 Day Pre-K Plus Class and TK Class

Our Pre-K Plus is designed for those 4 year old students that need more time in a classroom setting while getting ready for traditional school. This class includes weekly homework packets that introduce new concepts, building on what they learn in class. Our program focuses on developing the necessary skills for kindergarten readiness, including reading and math. Our reading-language arts program lays a strong foundation for understanding letters, promoting listening, rhyming, segmenting, and comprehension. In math, children will count, sort, identify, write numbers, and graph materials, with lessons related to real-life experiences. Imaginative play and group activities encourage children to make friends, work together, and care for others. Our lessons are theme-based, covering topics such as alphabet letters, seasonal changes, animals, and holidays. The daily schedule includes academic lessons, stories, calendar, cooking, arts/crafts, and music, with monthly chapel sessions. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Our TK class is exclusively designed for children who miss the kindergarten cut-off date. We understand that every child develops at their own pace, and this program caters specifically to those who need an extra year of preparation before entering the traditional kindergarten setting.

Enrolling your child in our TK program, where we blend the joy of play with the structure of academics, fostering a love for learning that will stay with them throughout their educational journey. This class has homework packets, reading logs, and the emerging reading program that encompasses sight words and simple sentences. This class runs Monday-Friday 8:30-12:45pm.
